Thank you Venice Musicale... from Rebecca Reale and family...

The Venice Musicale has been such an important part of Becca's development through the years. So much has progressed since she left Venice, Florida to attend The Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Boston at age 15.

Rebecca RealeBecca is currently a senior, and auditioning to Cleveland Institute, Juilliard, Manhattan, Colburn, Rice, Indiana, Peabody and New England Conservatory (NEC). Her private teachers have included Fudeko Takahashi-Kohler (NEC, 2008-09) and Peter Zazofsky (Boston University, 2009-current). Being a member of the NEC-Youth Philharmonic under the baton of Maestro Benjamin Zander has been an amazing experience for her. The NEC-YPO concerts in Jordan Hall have included Mahler 5, Bartok Concerto for orchestra, Petrushka by Stravinsky, and much more. Becca has been awarded full scholarship to travel with the NEC/YPO on a European tour this June including performances in Prague and Vienna. Her passion for Chamber music continues, and she has won awards and competitions in the Boston area.

Thank you for being such an integral and personal part of Becca's development through the years. The scholarships awarded from Venice Musicale and Thelma Cohn Awards made it possible for her to attend summer institutes and that made a tremendous difference.

We are honored that Becca has been appointed the assistant principal second violin of the Houston Symphony beginning in September 2016.

We will continue to keep in touch with Venice Musicale, and if you would like any further information, please feel free to contact Roberta Reale at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
