2020 was a year unlike any one we’ve experienced in our 69-year history. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we felt it was prudent to cancel our scholarship auditions scheduled for April 4, 2020. Luckily, eleven applicants had been chosen to audition and in keeping with our mission to encourage young talent, we decided to make a token award to each of them. We hope to send a strong message about how committed Venice Musicale is in investing in the next generation of talent.
