We are proud to announce our Venice Musicale 2022 scholarship awardees. It was a successful year for our scholarship program, with two junior division participants and twelve senior division participants.
Participants came from seven different schools and performed on seven different instruments as well as voice. Most students were showcased on our annual scholarship concert held on May 5, 2022.
Monetary awards totaled a record-breaking $10,000.
Pine View School
Leo started piano in 2018 and violin in 2019. His favorite composer is Bach.
Pine View School
Cole plays with the State College of Florida Symphonic Band. He plans to pursue a degree in flute performance.
Venice High School
Cooper will attend Western Carolina University where he will major in music education.
Lemon Bay High School
Matthew was selected for the 2022 All State Jazz Band.
Pine View School
Selena plays first violin in the Pine View Chamber Orchestra and the Sarasota Youth Symphony.
Homeschool
Aiko has performed on Tokyo TV and in Salon Concerts in New York City.
